The greatest profits this season to the south of Russia are wheat and barley

The greatest profit this season to farmers in the south of Russia is wheat and barley, the margin of soy and sugar beets has significantly decreased.

Such data at the conference “WHERE MARGIN - 2020” was given by Dmitry Rylno, Director General of the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies.

According to expert estimates, wheat and barley on average in the south of the country generate profits of more than 24 thousand rubles per hectare, corn yields within 9 thousand rubles per hectare. Compared to last year, the margin of sunflower increased slightly - an average of more than 15 thousand rubles per hectare.

Soybean, which in the 2017/18 season made a profit of more than 20 thousand rubles per hectare, for the second year in a row allows you to get only about 9 thousand rubles per hectare.

The biggest disappointment for plant growers in southern Russia was sugar beets. Its margin is estimated by IKAR at 2-3 thousand rubles per hectare against 19-20 thousand rubles a year earlier.

Corn for grain, which last year became a loss-making crop, this season will allow farmers to earn about 9 thousand rubles per hectare per hectare.

In 2019, 121.2 million tons of grain in net weight were collected in Russia

In 2019, Russia collected 121.2 million tons of cereals in net weight, said the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dzhambulat Khatuov.

“Last year, according to the regions of the Russian Federation, we gathered 121.2 million tons of grain in net weight,” Hatuov said at the conference “Where is the margin”.

“Accordingly, we understand that the growth is quite powerful, over 7 million tons compared to the previous year, and thereby we really understand that the trend we are all striving for is to reach 140 million tons of grain by 2025 and within the limits of 27 million tons of oilseeds, this is a very real task, ”he continued.

According to the first deputy minister, this task is dictated not only by the promises set by the president of the Russian Federation, but also by the search for marginality, profitability, expansion of production capacities, and technical achievements in a number of certain sectors.

Most state support for agribusiness will go to soft loans

In 2020, 319.5 billion rubles were allocated to support agriculture.

In support of the agro-industrial complex under state programs in the federal budget in 2020, 319.5 billion rubles are provided. In 2019, this figure amounted to 318.2 billion rubles, said Deputy Minister of Agriculture Elena Fastova at the 11th International Agrarian Conference «Where the Margin», organized by the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies. Including 283.6 billion rubles. will be allocated to the state program for the development of agriculture, 35.9 billion rubles. - on the integrated development of rural areas.

From 5.4 billion rubles. up to 3.8 billion rubles. the volume of support for the federal program «Creating a Support System for Farming and Development of Rural Cooperation» will decrease. 5.1 billion rubles. less will be allocated for the development of agricultural exports.

Interstate Committee for the Standardization of Organic Products

Rosquality and Rosstandart create an interstate committee for the standardization of organic products. It is assumed that he will be led by Russia, told RG in Roskachestvo, where they are convinced that domestic organic certificates should be recognized abroad. “The volume of consumption of organic products by the EU countries exceeds the volume of its production,” the Roskachestvo draws attention.

The organization at the end of December last year received the right to certify products of organic crop production, animal husbandry, poultry farming, beekeeping, aquaculture and processing enterprises. The principles of the work of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture (IFOAM) were taken as the basis of the Russian methodology.

At the end of January, about 50 applications were submitted to Roskachestvo from manufacturers of drinks, dairy products, greenhouse vegetables, functional nutrition, and alcoholic beverages. Obtaining a certificate takes from 2 to 6 months.

Quota for grain export from Russia

Russia may introduce a grain export quota - from January 1 to June 30, 2020 (i.e., until the end of the agricultural season) it will be possible to export no more than 20 million tons. This restriction is proposed in the draft government resolution prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture, which was reviewed by “ Vedomosti. " The authenticity of the document was confirmed by two people who were close to large grain companies and saw it. Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture, Yuri Kosovan, confirmed plans to introduce a quota. Wheat, rye, barley, oats and corn will be subject to the restriction, since they are important for the domestic market of Russia, the document says.
